A mandala of seeds

A creative workshop to explore nature with new eyes, among the wonders of the Villa Carlotta Autumn Festival.

One hundred seeds take flight, each with a promise of life and a story to tell. In the exclusive setting of our botanical garden, we offer you a special afternoon dedicated to reading, crafts, and the wonder of autumnal nature. An activity designed to stimulate the imagination of adults and children alike through the creative use of the earth's elements.

The workshop is designed to accommodate children aged 3 to 12.

We will journey together through the pages of the famous illustrated book One Hundred Seeds That Took Flight by I. Minhós Martins and Y. Kono, discovering the secrets and paths of nature. We will play with seeds to give shape to our imagination. Each participant will then create their own little autumn mandala, gluing the seeds onto a piece of stiff cardboard to take home as a memento of the day.
