Beauty can break down every barrier. In the museum and the park of Villa Carlotta people with motor, sensory or cognitive disabilities, but also senior people who need special comfort and facilities, can enjoy the art and the triumph of nature thanks to a dedicated path.
Villa Carlotta offer free entry to all disabled visitors.
For visitors who are not self-sufficient, free entry is also extended to a companion.
This type of visit cannot be booked online: the free entry tickets are issued upon presentation of a certificate of invalidity at the ticket office.
Disabled visitors and, if appropriate, a companion, are guaranteed reserved entry.
Villa Carlotta is accessible also to visitors on mobility scooters and with electric wheelchairs.
Most of the park areas are accessible to people with motor disabilities.
Two elevators in the garden and a gravel-saving system in the avenues allow you to enjoy the park even in case of difficult walking.
Toilets specially equipped for the disabled are located along the itinerary and at the cafeteria.
Thanks to a lift, the Museum is accessible to disabled visitors
The entrance in the park with dogs is allowed only if kept on lead. They must be always on the path. It is forbidden to go on the grass.
It is forbidden to introduce dogs in the museum (excluding guide dogs, for blind or partially sighted persons)
