PIC – Un tesoro di territorio

The Integrated Plans of Culture arise from the will of the Lombardy Region to create a tool for planning and implementing cultural development, useful for enhancing the tourist-cultural offer of our territories.

Since 2020 Villa Carlotta has been involved in the Integrated Culture Plan "Un tesoro di territorio", which involves a large number of realities in the province of Como and its lake and which was made possible by the support of the Lombardy Region. The main objective pursued by the PIC is the creation of a solid coordinated tourist-cultural offer, which can highlight the entire territory and turn into a development tool not only on the cultural, but also on the economic and social front. Within this project, Villa Carlotta aims to enhance the offer of events as well as to support its promotion, with a particular attention on the overall strengthening of the attractiveness of the Villa itself and of the Lake Como area, also in view of a reinforcement of the tourist offer on Lake Como during the low season.

Villa Carlotta collaborates in the realization of the territorial project Tutti i Colori del Lago d’Inverno, which make reference to the center of Lake Como and is developed in partnership with Villa Balbianello, Villa Fogazzaro Roi, Museo del Paesaggio and Comunità Montana Lario Intelvese. In particular, a schedule of a calendar of events and extraordinary openings in the autumn and winter months will be established, activating a strategic and synergistic communication in order to generate a multiplier effect in the promotion of the initiatives among the other participants. The actions dedicated to the low tourist season are introduced in addition to the constant events planning that is regularly offered during the usual opening period, promoted in a coordinated way through the common Calendar to which all participants in the PIC adhere: a useful tool capable of reaching a very diversified audience created with the aim of enhancing the entire Larian territory.
