The Canclini textile collection includes ancient and contemporary artworks. The careful selection made for this exhibition leads the visitor on an evocative journey into the world of textile art. The narrative explains how the weave, the warp and the weft, even the raw material, such as silk, wool and cotton, have become real voices of expression.

A refined collection of rare and precious materials includes models of textile machines derived from designs by Leonardo da Vinci dedicated to engineering and technology. On public display for the first time during the commemoration of the five- hundredth anniversary of the artisit’s death.
